Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an ACMV / HVAC design engineer to develop system designs, layouts and specifications for current projects in Singapore.

You will prepare shop and as-built drawings, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and ensure compliance with local regulations and project standards. The ideal candidate has a diploma in mechanical engineering with Building Services, at least 2 years of M&E/ACMV experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction M&E and/or ACMV projects.
• Good knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems, engineering principles, and relevant industry standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), or other relevant design software.
• Strong problem-solving, technical coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an engineering consultancy environment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop ACMV system designs, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications based on project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate design matters with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure ACMV designs comply with relevant local regulations, technical standards, and project specifications.
• Review project requirements and provide suitable technical design solutions.
• Identify and resolve design-related or technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project teams with technical clarification and design modifications when required.
