Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Service Engineer to ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems for clients.

You will perform servicing, maintenance, overhaul, testing and commissioning, diagnose issues, coordinate with clients, and maintain records while upholding safety standards and providing reliable support and upselling opportunities. Entry-level candidates are welcome; degree in Mechanical and Electrical with 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical and Electrical with 1 year working experience.
• Experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting within HVAC or BAS.
• Willingness to learn and be a good teammate.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to standby and backup.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspection of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Overhaul and repair HVAC equipment, including identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired HVAC systems to verify performance.
• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to ensure continuous system operations.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide technical support.
• Maintain accurate records of service reports, equipment status, and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all tasks.
• Provide recommendations to improve facility efficiency and upsell opportunities.
• Support proposals to back recommendations and solutions.
