Maybank Securities is seeking a motivated undergraduate for a 6-month full-time HR internship in Singapore. You will gain hands-on exposure to HR processes, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR projects that drive operational excellence.

The role emphasizes learning and supporting resourcing, orientation, contract renewals, and HR initiatives while contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Undergrad who has a major or minor in Human Resources is preferred.
• Good communication skills orally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up ability.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Team player who can function well both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support resourcing activities including sourcing, advertising and coordinating interviews for new hires (permanent, contract and internship).
• Coordinate full employee life cycle tasks such as orientation, induction and contract renewals; manage exits processes.
• Participate in HR projects, including employee experience initiatives, process improvement, HR digitalisation and operational excellence initiatives.
• Assist in learning and development initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Support maintenance, scanning and digitisation of employee personnel files and perform other duties as assigned.

This is a 6-months full-time internship training program.

Job Description:

The position offers excellent opportunity to learn about HR processes and gain practical experience while contributing to HR initiatives within the organization.

You can expect hands-on learning experience in the following areas:

1. Resourcing

• Source, advertise and coordinate interviews for new hires including permanent, contract and internship positions.
• Screening of candidates
• Issuance of Letter of Appointment and follow up in the necessary logistics for all new hires

2. Full employee life cycle

• Organise new joiner orientation and induction for HOD
• Fixed term contract renewal
• Administrate staff exit process such as preparing acceptance of resignation letter, exit interview form, staff movement email updates.

3. Projects

• Participate in a variety of HR projects, including employee experience initiatives, process improvement, HR digitalisation and operational excellence initiatives.

4. Other administrative duties not limited to:

• Assist in learning and development initiatives
• Assist in employee engagement initiatives
• Support the maintenance, scanning and digitisation of employee personnel files (P-files)
• Any other duties as assigned.
