Job summary

CATIG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a Safety Lead to oversee the site's safety systems and drive environmental health standards.

You will lead the Safety team, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with MOM regulations across ongoing projects. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of WSH practices, and the ability to liaise with authorities and clients to address safety issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma in WSH.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Possess a valid MOM registration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Safety team in implementing safety systems on sites.
• Inspect workplaces to ensure safety compliance.
• Identify non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with authorities and clients on environment and safety issues.
• Coordinate with site operations staff and Project Managers on safety and health matters.
• Conduct internal and external WSH trainings for staff.
• Investigate incidents and propose corrective actions.
• Perform regular safety inspections and audits.
• Prepare risk assessments and safe work procedures.

Job description

• Oversee and lead the Safety team in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites
• Inspect and examine the workplace to ensure workplace safety compliance
• Identify safety, environmental health non-compliance and recommend measures to rectify
• Liaise with authorities and clients on matters pertaining to environmental, workplace safety issues
• Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all safety and health issues .
• Conduct & organize internal / external WSH trainings for staffs.
• Conduct incident investigations & propose corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provisions.
• Conduct, review & submit Risk Assessments.
• Prepare safe work procedures for site activities.

Requirements

• Specialist Diploma in WSH
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Possess a valid registration with MOM
