BHCC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified WSHO to enforce house rules, collaborate with the project team to eliminate safety, health and environmental hazards, and update safety policies in line with statutory requirements.

You will ensure legal compliance and timely reporting of mandatory documents while conducting internal audits for ISO standards. You will also lead site WSH matters for the company and subcontractors, train the Site Emergency Response Team, and conduct safety

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience.
• Main Contractor experience would be an advantage.
• ECMO qualification would be an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Enforce house rules on all stakeholders and take action when necessary for non-compliance.
• Work closely with the project team to eliminate safety, health and environment hazards.
• Establish, review, update and improve Workplace Safety and Health procedures, measures and policies in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure legal compliance to all statutory safety and environmental regulations and timely submission of mandatory documents.
• Facilitate and conduct internal auditing to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Responsible for all incidents reporting and investigation.
• Lead and manage site WSH matters for both, the company and subcontractors.
• Guide and train the Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) and organize drills.
• Conduct safety-related training for staff and subcontractors including foreign workers.
• Audit equipment, machinery and assets regularly to ensure good working condition and that machineries are purchased for use.
• Implement safety campaigns to promote and inculcate safety culture.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify irregularities.
• Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on WSH issues.
• Any related ad-hoc duties or assignments as instructed by Management.

Requirements:

• Possess Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) qualification will be added advantage.
