Job summary

STARLAND CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Safety Officer to monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with WSH requirements on project sites. You will conduct inspections, coordinate safety training, and maintain the Safety and Health Management System across sites.

The ideal candidate holds MOM registration and an advanced WSH certification, with familiarity with MOM regulations and experience in construction settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Officer with Ministry of Manpower.
• Advanced certificate in WSH/SafetyOfficer/Coordinator.
• Familiar with MOM requirements and workplace safety regulations.
• Relavant experience in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with WSH requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts and unsafe working conditions.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors and subcontractors to maintain safe working practices.
• Implement and maintain the Safety and Health Management System at project sites.
• Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, client and company safety requirements.
• Identify safety violations and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Follow up on findings from inspections, audits, incidents and risk assessments.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near misses, and recommend follow-up actions.
• Coordinate and maintain records for safety orientations, toolbox meetings, inspections and training.
• Conduct safety briefings and support workplace safety training programmes.
• Prepare safety reports, statutory forms and other relevant documentation.
• Respond to site safety emergencies and provide support when required.
