Job summary

Deel is hiring a Solutions Engineer (Consultant) to partner with our go-to-market and internal teams, helping customers evaluate Deel's platform and offerings. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, compliant solutions and support the full sales cycle from discovery to implementation hand-off.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to advocate for customer needs, accelerate deal velocity, and craft compelling value messaging while traveling as needed to

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Solutions Engineer / Pre-Sales.
• Mandarin desirable for ASEAN & GCR.
• Experience supporting complex B2B sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of SaaS delivery and common integration approaches (APIs, SSO/SAML).
• Comfortable leading technical conversations with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel inside and outside of territory (~10%).
• Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills.
• Entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset in a fast-moving startup.

Responsibilities

• Work with go-to-market teams to showcase Deel's platform and products to deliver technical wins.
• Consult with prospective customers to assess processes and propose optimized future-state solutions.
• Be the technical voice during sales cycles, including discovery, RFP responses, demos, and integration workshops.
• Translate customer requirements into solution designs and implementation recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to address prospect needs and accelerate deals.
• Develop and maintain technical enablement assets (demo narratives, discovery frameworks, reference architectures).
• Support partnership and marketing-led initiatives (webinars, events, content) as needed.
• Stay updated on technology trends, security, and compliance expectations.
