Job summary

Deel is seeking a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end implementation projects for enterprise clients. You will manage senior client relationships, own a portfolio of strategic accounts, and tailor delivery approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Summary

In this role you will lead end-to-end implementation projects for complex, high‑value clients, managing senior client relationships and driving project delivery within the enterprise segment. You will own a portfolio of strategic accounts, exercise professional judgement to tailor your approach to each client’s needs, and collaborate cross‑functionally to influence product and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Leading end-to-end implementation projects for complex, high-value clients, including senior client relationship management, project governance, steering committee facilitation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Owning a portfolio of strategic accounts with sophisticated onboarding requirements in the enterprise segment, driving project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Tailoring the project approach to each client’s context, exercising professional judgment to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact onboarding timelines, scope, or client satisfaction, and escalating critical issues to leadership as needed.
  • Synthesizing product and operational feedback, and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to influence the roadmap.
  • Contributing to process and playbook improvements.
Qualifications
  • Fluent level of Japanese and English
  • 3+ years in an implementation role supporting a B2B SaaS product, particularly in HR, Payroll, and Finance domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and a passion for teaching others, whether a customer or a colleague.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. You are focused, action-oriented, and always anticipating the next steps.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and verbal formats to customers and team members.
  • High attention to detail with the capability to design organized and effective onboarding plans and schedules for clients.
  • Driven, quick‑thinking, and thrive in a fast‑paced, challenging environment. You excel in an autonomous work setting, expertly prioritizing tasks and identifying internal and external blockers.

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
