Job summary

AME International is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Singapore team. You will process payroll bi-weekly or monthly, ensure accurate wages, benefits, bonuses, deductions and taxes, and maintain employee payroll records in HR and payroll systems.

You will respond to employee inquiries on payslips and tax forms, support HR payroll reporting, and help ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act and internal controls while safeguarding data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and compensation & benefits administration.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF regulations, MOM requirements and payroll practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Good communication and organisational skills; able to meet payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing payroll bi-weekly or monthly.
• Ensure accurate computation of wages, benefits, bonuses, deductions and taxes.
• Maintain payroll records in HR and payroll systems.
• Handle employee inquiries on payslips, tax forms and salary discrepancies.
• Support payroll reports for HR Manager.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
