Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking an experienced HR operations professional in Singapore to oversee regulated role management, compliance governance and related processes. You will coordinate with Compliance and business units to address queries and ensure timely actions.

You will also support audits, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen controls and enhance the employee experience across the region.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in HR operations, HR compliance or risk and control processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical reasoning.
• Ability to identify process gaps and drive improvements.
• Experience in large, complex, fast-paced organisations.
• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Singapore SFA/FAA and MAS 753 role registrations, changes and cessation.
• Govern Outside Employment and Relationship at Work with proper documentation.
• Manage candidate background checks and ongoing monitoring for employees.
• Assist RCCI communications coordination and action tracking.
• Support vendor relationship management and service level monitoring.
• Coordinate with Compliance and business stakeholders on HR compliance queries.
• Maintain HR Compliance Operations procedures and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Assist with audits, inspections and response coordination.
• Facilitate regulatory surveys with timely submissions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and employee experience.
• Contribute to HR projects, governance and change initiatives.
