Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Process Support (APAC & EU)
- Provide comprehensive HR administrative support for employees across APAC and EU regions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data maintenance, payroll and benefits.
- Handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee inquiries via email, communicator, and HR ticketing systems within defined SLA timelines, ensuring culturally sensitive and timely responses across multiple time zones.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions in in-house HRIS systems, maintaining high data integrity for a diverse regional workforce.
- Maintain employee records and documentation in compliance with local employment regulations in supported countries.
Compliance & Documentation
- Monitor and ensure adherence to labor laws across APAC and EU jurisdictions.
- Support regular HR audits and quality control checks to maintain data integrity and process accuracy across complex regional operations.
- Assist in updating HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks to reflect regulatory changes and best practices in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Prepare statutory submissions and reports as required by Singapore government agencies (MOM, CPF Board, IRAS) and support regional compliance reporting.
Cross-Border Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Act as subject matter expert and collaborate closely with stakeholders based in China headquarters, providing seamless HR operational support and acting as a bridge between regional teams and HQ.
- Partner with regional HR teams across APAC and EU to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Participate in cross-functional projects such as HR system migrations, policy rollouts, and digital transformation initiatives involving multiple international stakeholders.
- Document best practices and contribute to knowledge base development to facilitate efficient information sharing across global teams.
- Support training and onboarding of new HRSSC team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and regional alignment.
Continuous Improvement in a Complex Environment
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance service quality in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrate resilience and adaptability when navigating ambiguous situations and conflicting priorities across different cultural and regulatory contexts.
- Participate in process optimization projects to improve operational efficiency and standardize practices across regions.
- Stay updated on HR technology trends and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions that address the unique challenges of supporting APAC and EU markets.
