Job summary

VAC-TECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking an HR Executive to join our Human Resources team in Singapore. This full-time role supports a broad range of generalist HR functions, ensuring employees receive excellent HR services and timely support.

You will administer payroll and benefits, maintain employee records, handle queries, coordinate engagement and training, support performance processes and assist with health and safety initiatives, while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
• Customer service orientation with a genuine interest in supporting employees.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Administration of payroll, benefits and employee compensation programmes
• Administer employee records, personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with relevant employment legislation
• Provide support to employees on HR-related queries, including leave management, contract matters and workplace issues
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programmes and professional development initiatives
• Support performance management processes and assist managers with employee relations matters
• Maintain accurate HR databases and prepare HR reports and analytics as required
• Assist with health and safety initiatives and employee wellbeing programmes
