Job summary

Hatch Asia Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Human Resource Assistant Manager/Manager to lead and execute comprehensive HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.

You will partner with leadership to design and implement HR policies, oversee compensation, benefits, leave, and training, and drive engagement and retention while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by managing multiple HR tasks with attention to detail
• Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to HR challenges and decision-making

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees collaboratively to ensure smooth integration into the organization
• Design and implement performance evaluation frameworks to enhance employee development
• Manage employee discipline and termination processes in compliance with policies to maintain workforce standards
• Coordinate offboarding to ensure respectful and compliant exits
• Partner with senior leadership to align staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies with organizational goals
• Plan and implement HR policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support compliance and strategic objectives
• Administer and oversee HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development
• Facilitate communication between management and employees by addressing grievances, demands, and workplace issues to maintain positive relations
• Identify staffing and recruiting needs and develop best practices for hiring and talent management to attract and retain top talent
• Support development, engagement, motivation, and retention of current staff to foster workforce stability
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive working environment that supports employee well-being and productivity
• Monitor and apply knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies to continuously improve HR functions
