Hotel Clover 769 North Bridge Road is seeking a hands-on Hotel Operations Manager to lead daily hotel operations across departments, enhance service quality, and collaborate with teams and service providers to deliver exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

You will oversee Rooms, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and outsourced services, drive productivity, cost control, and staff development while maintaining high standards and delivering operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in hotel operations, hospitality, or related operational management roles

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and outsourced services to ensure seamless hotel functioning
• Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, and other operational teams to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement improvements in operational productivity, cost control, sustainability, and guest satisfaction
• Support Front Office staff with guest check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and special requests to enhance guest experience
• Address guest feedback and complaints promptly with professional service recovery actions
• Assist in staff scheduling, manpower planning, and daily operational coordination to optimize workforce deployment
• Supervise and mentor team members to uphold service quality, operational standards, and productivity targets
• Facilitate staff training, onboarding, and performance monitoring to develop team capabilities
• Coordinate with outsourced service providers and contractors to ensure compliance with service agreements and operational requirements
• Monitor operational issues and coordinate timely corrective actions to maintain smooth hotel operations
• Respond effectively to operational emergencies, unexpected situations, or manpower shortages as needed
• Maintain clear communication and coordination between operational departments and hotel management
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager or General Manager

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in hotel operations, hospitality, or related operational management roles
• Familiarity with hotel operational standards, guest flow management, and team supervision, preferably with Duty Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, or Front Office leadership experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to lead diverse teams and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills to manage fast-paced operational challenges calmly and effectively
• Knowledge of manpower planning, cost control, and operational efficiency principles
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory
