Job summary

Hilton International Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Chief Engineer in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of hotel facilities and engineering services. You will lead the engineering team, drive operational excellence, and support the hotel's business objectives.

You will oversee maintenance across air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and building systems, supervise staffing, training and performance, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Professional engineering qualification in building services or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in an engineer/engineering manager role or 2 years as Assistant Chief Engineer in a hotel.
• Specialized knowledge in water treatment, HVAC, electrical, and safety systems.
• Experience in maintenance across building services and energy conservation.
• Ability to train and coach engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering team to achieve operational excellence.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of hotel facilities and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with government authorities and external service providers.
• Prepare for audits and maintain maintenance records.
