Job summary

ENGIE SERVICES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage facility upgrading, development, renovation, and CAPEX projects within a healthcare environment.

You will oversee projects from planning through commissioning, handover and defect management, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (or Diploma with experience), strong communication and coordination skills, and

Qualifications

• Good communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Safety-conscious, customer-focused, and able to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and supervise project activities and site works.
• Support development, R&R, and CAPEX projects.
• Liaise with end-users, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Prepare tender/RFQ specifications, support tender evaluations, and coordinate procurement.
• Review designs, technical proposals, schedules, and contractor submissions.
• Manage contractors, resources, budgets, risks, scope changes, and project docs.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and compliant with regulations.
• Conduct project meetings, resolve issues, and provide progress updates to clients and management.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, handover, and submission of as-built drawings and manuals.
• Monitor defect rectification and ensure quality compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance related to project scope with minimal hospital disruption.
• Monitor utility and facility systems where applicable.
