Job summary

KEE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. invites a Design Coordinator/Manager to assist in overseeing design development for a hospital construction project in Singapore.

You will coordinate architectural, structural, M&E, and specialist disciplines to ensure integrated delivery and compliance with contractual requirements. You will review drawings and technical submissions, liaise with consultants and contractors, and monitor design progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in design coordination or design management within the construction industry.
• Experience with large-scale building or institutional projects; hospital or healthcare construction is an asset.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and coordination, with familiarity of Revit and Navisworks preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills in project settings.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager in overseeing design development and implementation for a hospital construction project.
• Coordinate architectural, civil and structural (C&S), mechanical and electrical (M&E), and specialist design disciplines for integrated delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions for compliance with requirements and contracts.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and authorities to resolve design issues.
• Monitor design progress to ensure timely submission, review, approval and distribution of documents.
• Organize design meetings, prepare agendas/minutes and track action items.
• Assess design changes for impact on methods, costs, schedule and quality.
