Job summary

SsangYong Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Design Lead for a large hospital project in Singapore.

You will manage design activities across M&E disciplines, coordinate with architects and structural teams, and ensure compliant, integrated solutions from concept through completion. Responsibilities include BIM coordination, review of submissions, and on-site support to implement the design intent while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' M&E design and construction experience, preferably with main contractor or D&B.
• Experience leading M&E design for large building projects, including hospital work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage M&E design activities for a large hospital construction project.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and other consultants to ensure integrated design.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and shop drawings for M&E.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore codes, standards and authority requirements.
• Lead BIM and clash coordination, monitor progress and deliverables.
• Support on-site implementation of M&E design intent during construction.
• Mentor M&E engineers and design personnel, maintain records of submissions.
