Job summary

NTT Data Singapore is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Engineer specialized in Storage Administration to manage Hitachi storage systems and implement Commvault backup solutions. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud storage on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and proficiency in scripting to automate storage tasks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage performance, develop backup policies, and contribute to cloud storage initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Proven storage admin experience with Hitachi and Commvault.
• Strong cloud storage knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficient in scripting/automation for storage tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain Hitachi storage systems, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and support Commvault backup and recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage and backup solutions.
• Develop and maintain storage and backup policies and procedures.
• Monitor and optimize storage performance and capacity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on storage and backup-related issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in storage and backup solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud storage solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Storage Administrator with in-depth knowledge of Hitachi storage systems and Commvault backup solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud storage technologies and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for storage and backup tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications in Hitachi storage, Commvault, and cloud platforms are a plus.
