Job summary

PATH INFOTECH PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations, manage incidents, and coordinate 24x7 coverage. You will mentor engineers, drive platform upgrades, and support security-hardening and AWS administration.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in platform/infrastructure roles, hands-on Ansible, OpenShift or Kubernetes, and strong ITSM skills. A lead/senior background and relevant RHCE/AWS certs are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering and support.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform and OpenShift or Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Experience with platform upgrades and new platform deployments is essential.
• Willingness to support a 24x7 on-call roster and participate in after-hours maintenance activities.
• Experience in a lead or senior technical capacity, with strong troubleshooting, familiarity with ITSM frameworks, and good communication and organisational skills.
• RHCE / Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or OpenShift Administration, or AWS administration certifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Elastic Search, ServiceNow, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations; incidents, service requests, and change activities managed within agreed service levels.
• Coordinate team workload and rostering for 24x7 coverage; track operational metrics; prepare status updates for stakeholders.
• Act as first point of escalation during off-hours; lead incident response when Team Lead unavailable; mentor junior engineers.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades; contribute to new platform setups covering installation, configuration, enterprise service integration, and security hardening.
• Perform basic AWS administration: compute, storage, networking, IAM; ensure cloud resources are managed with security/governance.
• Support Team Lead on project matters: milestone tracking, deliverable coordination, risk management, vendor/stakeholder liaison.

Job description

The incumbent will assist the Team Lead in overseeingday-to-day operations, ensuring incidents, service requests, and changeactivities are managed within agreed service levels.

This includes coordinating team workload and rostering for24x7 coverage, tracking operational metrics, and preparing status updates forstakeholders.

They will act as the first point of escalation duringoff-hours, leading incident response when the Team Lead is unavailable, andwill mentor junior engineers to ensure the team can handle platform issuesindependently.

• On the technical side, the incumbent will handle incidentresolution, root cause analysis, platform health monitoring, capacitymanagement, and upkeep of runbooks and standard operating procedures.

They will plan and execute platform upgrades and contributeto new platform setups covering installation, configuration, enterprise serviceintegration, and security hardening. For AWS, they will perform basicadministration tasks covering computing, storage, networking, and identity andaccess management, ensuring cloud resources are managed in line with securityand governance requirements.

• The incumbent will also support the Team Lead on projectmatters including milestone tracking, deliverable coordination, riskmanagement, and vendor and stakeholder liaison.

Requirements / Qualifications Requirements

The candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years ofexperience in platform or infrastructure engineering and support, with hands-onexperience in Ansible Automation Platform and OpenShift or Kubernetes in aproduction environment.

Experience with platform upgrades and new platformdeployments is essential.
