Qualifications

• 8 years or more of working experience in procurement or related functions.
• Experience in IT procurement is required.
• Strong people management experience.
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
• SLM (Service Level Management) knowledge and relevant implementation experience is a strong advantage.

Job description

Provide procurement advisory and support on all procurement matters to the assigned business units and stakeholders supporting healthcare operations, patient flow, care enablement and business initiatives.

2. Analyze, strategize, plan and implement sourcing strategies for categories of products and services supporting healthcare operations, care delivery, patient flow and business enablement initiatives.

3. Assist in driving initiatives to consolidate, rationalise and streamline procurement demand across business and operational functions to achieve better value, savings and vendor management outcomes.

4. Manage, track and support end-to-end procurement activities such as Request for Proposal, Request for Quotation and maintenance contract renewal.

5. Lead negotiations with suppliers.

6. Prepare the required procurement approval papers/ documents.

7. Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce overall costs

8. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement policy and relevant guidelines/regulations. 9. Address queries and resolve issue on procurement matters.

10. Coach and train team members.

11. Monitor contract renewals and ensure renewal activities are initiated and completed ahead of contract expiry to support continuity of critical business and operational services.

12. Provide sound advice on contract renewals and ensure compliance with internal corporate governance processes.

13. Developing improved process and working/collaborating with other parties as required to drive change and improve the procurement and contracts manage process.

14. Maintain vendor, contract and procurement records to support business planning, operational continuity and procurement governance.

15. Conduct an annual review and analysis of vendor procurement volume to management and CPO for strategic procurement planning.

16. Partner business stakeholders to understand healthcare operational priorities, patient journey initiatives and emerging service requirements, and translate these into effective sourcing and procurement strategies.

• Experience in IT procurement is required.
