Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking a Procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities, from planning and sourcing to contract renewals and supplier management. The role supports healthcare delivery initiatives, ensuring value-for-money and policy governance.

The candidate will lead RFQ/RFP processes, maintain procurement records, and drive process improvements across procurement governance and reporting. ICT/technology procurement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, contract management or commercial experience.
  • Experience in ICT and/or technology procurement preferred.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, contract administration and supplier management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide procurement advisory and support to stakeholders in healthcare delivery and operations.
  • Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned categories.

Position Summary / Project Description

The role is responsible for managing and supporting end-to-end procurement activities, including procurement planning, sourcing, quotation and tender processes, contract renewals, supplier management, governance approvals and procurement advisory. The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and suppliers to ensure timely procurement support for operational and project requirements, maintain continuity of critical services through proactive contract management and renewal planning, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements. The role will also support procurement process improvements, vendor performance management, procurement reporting and strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve operational efficiency and value-for-money outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide procurement advisory and support to business stakeholders supporting healthcare delivery, patient flow, care ecosystem operations and business initiatives.
  • Support the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned categories of products and services.
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end procurement activities, including Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), contract renewals and procurement approvals.
  • Prepare procurement documents, evaluation reports, approval papers and other procurement-related submissions.
  • Support contract renewals and procurement planning activities to ensure continuity of critical business and operational services.
  • Engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and relevant parties throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Monitor procurement timelines and ensure procurement activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, achieve cost savings and enhance procurement processes.
  • Maintain procurement, contract and vendor records and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support supplier management activities, including supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures and governance requirements.
  • Address procurement-related queries and support stakeholders in complying with internal procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • Monitor contract expiry dates and work with stakeholders to initiate renewal or replacement procurement activities ahead of expiry.
  • Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis and management information to support planning and decision-making.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance procurement and contract management practices.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualification & Skill-sets (Functional & Technical)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 5+ years of relevant procurement, sourcing, contract management or commercial experience.
  • Experience in ICT and/or technology procurement is preferred.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, contract administration and supplier management practices.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar procurement systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement governance, policies and approval processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and deadlines concurrently.
