Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Specialist, Recruitment (2 Years Contract) to support mass hiring of non-executives and blue collar workers. The role covers the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.

You will actively source candidates through multiple platforms, manage interviews, and collaborate with external agencies as needed. Weekend recruitment events may be required, and you will track KPIs and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in high-volume or mass recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviews, salary negotiation, offer management and onboarding.
• Drive high-volume recruitment to meet monthly hiring targets.
• Actively source candidates through platforms such as JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, FastJobs and other recruitment channels.
• Collaborate with external recruitment agencies to deliver recruitment targets.
• Keep track and follow up with candidates on documentation for their application via various communication channels.
• Develop and experiment with creative recruitment strategies and new sourcing approaches to reach and attract candidates.
• Support weekly recruitment fairs, walk-in interviews, hiring drives and other mass recruitment initiatives, including on-site weekend events where required.
• Keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment journey and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Support onboarding activities and other recruitment/HR initiatives as required.
• Conduct onboarding orientation and induction for new joiners
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and create personnel file prior to onboarding, track KPIs and support recruitment reporting.
• Work closely with HRBPs for recruitment and onboarding requirements, proactively address and resolve issues.
• Serve as a key point of contact and mentor to colleagues, providing guidance and support when required.
