Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional background in asset custody workflows or investment management support within a banking institution or investment house.
• Practical grasp of banking settlements, portfolio custody, life insurance administration, and local compliance mandates.
• Good service mindset with the ability to manage priorities, maintain control discipline, and multi-task effectively.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and documentation standards.
• Collaborative team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with custodians and managers to handle policy workflows and questions.
• Enter and verify monthly asset valuations for life insurance accounts.
• Track cash positioning, asset liquidity, and policy value.
• Audit portfolio holdings for sanctions risk and liquidity.
• Ensure documentation is complete and archived for audits.
• Refresh SOPs to reflect changing procedures, risk checks, and mandates.
• Prepare internal summaries and compliance disclosures with accurate data.
• Provide additional operations and project support as required.

The Opportunity

My team is partnering with a leading bank to look for a High Net Worth Insurance Operations Support Associate. It starts off as contract role with the opportunity to convert to Permanent.

Role Overview

In this role, you will :

• deliver middle-office administrative assistance for affluent client insurance plans, focusing primarily on Variable Universal Life contracts
• take full ownership of case management for these life policies, ensuring all workflows meet internal service criteria and follow legal frameworks
• provide reliable support and high-quality solutions to policy owners and distribution professionals across all networks

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with financial custodians and investment managers to handle and resolve policy transaction workflows and administrative questions
• Enter and verify the monthly asset valuations for these complex life insurance accounts
• Track the cash positioning, asset liquidity, and overall value of active policies
• Audit underlying portfolio holdings to flag sanction risks, liquidity constraints, and investment fit
• Ensure all required documentation is complete, properly maintained, and archived to support ad hoc audit and control requests.
• Review and refresh standard operating manuals to keep pace with changing operational steps, risk checks, and legal mandates
• Generate and file internal summaries alongside compliance disclosures, ensuring precise data tracking and on-time delivery
• Deliver additional HNW operational tasks and project support as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional background in asset custody workflows or investment management support inside a banking institution or investment house
• Hold a practical grasp of banking settlements, portfolio custody, life insurance administration, and corresponding local compliance mandates
• Good service mindset with the ability to manage priorities, maintain control discipline, and multi-task effectively.
