Job summary

Selby Jennings’ client, a buyside firm in Singapore, seeks a Fund Accounting Associate Director to oversee NAV calculations, fund accounting deliverables, valuations, reconciliations, accruals and investor allocations.

You will coordinate annual audits, review financial statements, and manage relationships with administrators, auditors, custodians and other service providers, ensuring compliance with policies and controls. Collaborating with internal teams on launches and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review NAV calculations, fund accounting deliverables, and periodic financial reports prepared by external administrators.
• Validate valuations, reconciliations, accruals, investor allocations, and management and performance fee calculations.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and resolve issues with administrators and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee investor capital activity from an accounting and control perspective.
• Coordinate annual audits and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Manage relationships with administrators, auditors, tax advisers, custodians, and other service providers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies, fund documentation, and internal controls.
• Partner with internal teams on fund-related matters, new launches, and process improvements.
