Job summary

Singapore American School Limited is seeking a visionary Head of Development, Recreational and Learn to Swim to lead swim coaching and program development. You will guide teams, develop pathways for learners and work with school leadership to enhance community engagement.

A strong emphasis on safeguarding, communication with parents and stakeholders, and supporting coaches is required. You will oversee recreation and learn-to-swim initiatives, coordinate with Aquatics Coordinators, and help plan

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time swim coaching or teaching equivalent.
• ASCA level 3; or NROC level 2 and tech level 2; or equivalent.
• Ability to coach different level/age swimmers.
• Ability to train and develop adult coaches.
• Current knowledge in technique development and stroke correction.
• First Aid certification or training available for right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative, level-appropriate programs for learning swimmers.
• Lead Elementary Squads' progress with Senior coaching teams.
• Manage Eagle Club Swim School with Swim School Manager.
• Coordinate evaluations, communications, and meets.
• Support safeguarding and safety policies.
