Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore seeks a seasoned supply chain leader to oversee warehouse, distribution, disposal, repair and returns of defence assets. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure secure, compliant operations across locations.

Responsibilities include managing secure warehouse operations for defence equipment, real-time inventory control, coordinating with transport providers, and continuous process improvement while supporting urgent deployment needs.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or asset stewardship.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and risk/ non-compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee secure warehouse operations for defence equipment and supplies.
• Ensure real-time inventory control and traceability across locations.
• Coordinate with transport providers to meet service agreements.
• Drive cost optimisation and process improvements; support urgent deployments.
• Lead continuous improvement and training programmes for the team.
