Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Head of Software Engineering to lead and grow a high-performing engineering organization.

You will coach software managers, architects, and engineers, drive delivery leadership across projects, and shape the technical roadmap aligned with the division's strategy. You will establish SDLC standards, DevSecOps pipelines, and quality gates, manage capacity and recruitment, and mentor teams through career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related discipline.
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary software teams.
• Strong track record delivering complex, mission-critical systems.
• Experience managing multiple projects and offshore teams.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines, reviews, and quality controls.
• Strong modern software architecture and development practices.
• Able to inspire, coach, and retain engineering talent.

• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing software engineering organization.
• Coach and mentor software managers, architects, and engineers across disciplines.
• Plan capacity, recruitment, and workforce development to meet project needs.
• Oversee SDLC governance, architecture, design, and deployment standards.

• Forecast demand and allocate personnel across projects and priorities.
• Ensure DevSecOps pipelines, testing, CI/CD, and release management.
