Job summary

Power Automation Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for high voltage protection and control systems in Singapore. You will lead cross-functional teams through sales handover, engineering, procurement, configuration, installation, testing, and commissioning from award to closeout.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 8+ years in project delivery and 3+ years in team leadership, plus hands-on experience with protection & control systems and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 8 years in project delivery, with at least 3 years leading teams.
• Direct exposure to Protection & Control systems, relays, commissioning is a must.
• Preferrable a SPPG EHVN pink pass holder who can work as supervisor at SPPG LIVE substation.
• Technical: Familiar with SPPG protection and control scheme requirement, secondary injection testing, and commissioning workflows.
• Commercial: Hands-on with project costing, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
• Leadership: Proven ability to coach, set standards, and raise technical bar of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of all projects within the section.
• Manage resource allocation, project planning and scheduling, cost control, and revenue recognition to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Strengthen the technical competency of the team in troubleshooting, testing and commissioning.

Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of all high voltage and medium voltage protection systems projects, including integration with substation automation systems (SAS), SCADA, and control systems in Singapore, from contract award through commissioning, handover, and closeout.

This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhering to the highest safety and quality standards, and meeting all client specifications. The individual leads and coordinates cross-functional teams involved in sales handover, engineering, procurement, configuration, installation, testing, and commissioning of protection and control systems. Holder of SPPG EHVN Pink Pass enabling supervision at SPPG live substations.
