Alpha Ladder Group is a global fintech holding and innovation platform focused on enabling regulated digital finance across payments, tokenization, and asset management. Through its subsidiaries such as MetaComp, Alpha Ladder builds and scales regulated financial and digital asset infrastructure across global markets.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Head of Operations, Wealth Division to build and lead the operations function supporting ALFin's growing wealth business. This is a hands-on leadership role: the successful candidate will manage a team handling day-to-day operations while also acting as a core member of the team designing the next-generation financial platform that underpins the business — one built to operate seamlessly across both digital-asset and traditional-asset rails.
The role reports into senior management and works closely with Product, Technology, Compliance, and Finance to ensure the wealth business scales with sound operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
Team leadership
- Build, manage, and develop an operations team capable of supporting a growing and increasingly complex wealth business
Establish clear operating procedures, workflows, and escalation paths as transaction volume and product range scale
- Act as the operational point of accountability for the wealth division to senior management
Platform and systems design
- Partner with Product and Technology as a core contributor to the design of ALFin's next-generation financial platform
- Design and specify systems and workflows that support a combined "Web2.5" product set — spanning digital assets (including tokenized RWA) and traditional assets (e.g. money market funds) — on a unified operating model
- Identify and help resolve operational gaps between digital-asset infrastructure (on-chain settlement, custody, wallets) and traditional asset servicing (fund administration, registrar/transfer agency processes, custodial banking)
- Booking, reconciliation, and reporting
- Own end-to-end trade and position booking across digital and traditional asset products
- Design and run reconciliation processes across on-chain and off-chain/fiat rails, custodians, fund administrators, and counterparties
- Build and maintain management and regulatory reporting for the wealth business, including MIS for senior management and RMG-level reporting
- Ensure books and records meet the standard required of a CMS-licensed entity
Controls and scaling
- Design operational controls appropriate to a regulated capital markets business handling both conventional and digital assets
- Support onboarding of new products, venues, and counterparties (e.g. custodians, fund administrators) with appropriate operational due diligence
- Contribute to operational input on new product proposals and internal governance processes
- Exception and incident management
- Trade breaks, settlement fails, and reconciliation exception handling as a named responsibility
- Operational incident escalation and post-mortem process
- Client-facing operations
- Client servicing / query resolution for account statements, corporate actions, redemptions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading an operations function in financial services — asset management, brokerage, fund administration, custody, or a comparable capital markets environment
- Direct experience with securities/fund operations (booking, NAV/valuation processes, reconciliation, fund administration) and exposure to digital asset operations (on-chain settlement, custody, wallet infrastructure) — candidates strong in one side with genuine appetite to build the other will be considered
- Track record designing or scaling operational systems and processes from an early stage, ideally in a regulated, licensed environment
- Strong reconciliation and controls mindset; comfortable owning books and records for a regulated entity
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and Compliance to translate operational requirements into system design
- Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory environment (MAS SFA/CMS framework) is a strong advantage
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment spanning both traditional finance and Web3
- Exposure to AI technologies, with an expectation to build AI-driven tooling internally (e.g. for reconciliation, reporting, and monitoring workflows)
- Reporting Line
- Reports to senior management within Alpha Ladder Finance / the wealth division leadership.
