Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working with private funds and deep knowledge of the alternative asset management industry.
• Strong academic qualification.
• Deep understanding of Real Asset markets and fund structuring; legal and tax advisory experience preferred.
• Effective project management and organisational skills with laser focus in driving conversions.
• Familiarity with ESG or sustainability principles in investment execution is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation and interpersonal skills.
• A strong communicator with stakeholder management skills across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Fund Design, Structuring: Design and recommend optimal fund structures with tax, regulatory and investor considerations.
• Identify and implement structuring solutions to meet specific investment strategies or investor needs.
• Ensure fund structures comply with regulatory requirements and laws.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and assess impact on fund structures.
• Work with capital raisers, investment teams, portfolio managers, legal, compliance and operations to ensure seamless fund launches and operations.
• Fee Negotiation, Documentation: Negotiate fund fees and terms with prospective investors, ensuring alignment with fund strategy and approvals.
• Identify fee simulation for comparative analysis and decision-making.
• Communicate complex structuring concepts to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of terms to EXCO approvals.
• Work with external counsels to draft and review fund documentation, including LPAs, side letters and other relevant documentation.
