Job summary

Keppel Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to onboard investors for private funds and SMAs, designing and implementing structures and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will negotiate terms, ensure regulatory compliance, and draft fund documents with external counsels, while aligning terms to EXCO approvals.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of real asset markets and strong stakeholder management across investment, legal, compliance, and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with private funds and alternative asset management.
• Strong academic qualification.
• Knowledge of real asset markets and fund structuring is desirable.
• Experience in legal/tax advisory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fund Design, Structuring Design and recommend optimal fund structures, considering tax, regulatory, and investor requirements.
• Identify and implement structuring solutions to meet specific investment strategies or investor needs
• Ensure fund structures comply with relevant regulatory requirements and laws.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and assess impact on fund structures.
• Work closely with capital raisers, investment teams, portfolio managers, legal, compliance and operations to ensure seamless fund launches and operations.
• Fee Negotiation, Documentation: Negotiate fund fees and terms with prospective investors, ensuring alignment with fund strategy, investor appetite and respective EXCO approvals.
• Identify fee simulation for comparative analysis and decision-making
• Communicate complex structuring concepts to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of terms to EXCO approvals
• Work with external counsels to draft and review fund documentation, including LPAs, side letters and other relevant documentation
