Job summary

Randstad Singapore partners with a global consumer business to hire an experienced planning leader who will reshape commercial, merchandising, demand and inventory planning across the APAC region.

Reporting into the SVP of APAC, the role drives the connection between consumer demand, revenue ambitions, margin performance and inventory investment, while introducing new planning technologies and building an agile, predictive operating model.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics or related field.
• 10+ years across commercial planning, demand planning, inventory management.
• Experience with merchandise financial planning and Open-to-Buy.
• Experience with planning platforms (Anaplan/o9/Board/Blue Yonder).
• Strong analytical capabilities for forecasting and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise financial planning translating growth objectives into revenue, margin, inventory and investment plans.
• Drive integrated demand planning aligning consumer insights with merchandising strategies.
• Own inventory investment planning and OTB frameworks to optimize stock levels and working capital.
• Partner with commercial, merchandising, buying and finance leaders to challenge assumptions and enable strategic decisions.
• Drive scenario modelling and forecasting to assess sales opportunities and risks.
• Lead adoption and optimization of planning platforms (Anaplan/o9) across the region.
• Transform planning processes using data analytics, predictive modelling and AI.
• Establish integrated planning processes connecting demand, assortment and performance.
• Develop and mentor the planning team fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
