Job summary

Ethos BeathChapman is seeking a Demand Planner to own the APAC demand signal and build an 18‑month plan used by Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. You will lead the APAC demand review within the monthly S&OP cycle and maintain forecasts across customers, distributors, brands and SKUs.

You will track forecast accuracy, perform root‑cause analysis on misses, and quantify risks and opportunities for inventory and the financial plan.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in demand planning, supply chain planning or commercial analytics.
• Experience managing forecasts across regional markets or customers in FMCG preferred.
• Strong data-analytics capability and proficiency with Excel.

Job description

A leading consumer products company is looking for a Demand Planner to own the demand signal for its APAC business. This is a role for a planner who wants to shape decisions, not just produce forecasts. You will build an 18-month demand plan that Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain can all work from, and you will lead the APAC demand review within the monthly S&OP cycle.

You will maintain the rolling plan across customers, distributors, brands and SKUs, combining statistical forecasts with documented assumptions from across the business.

Beyond that, you will track forecast accuracy and bias, lead root-cause analysis on material misses, and quantify the risks and opportunities for inventory, working capital and the financial plan. You will also work with Supply Planning and Customer Service on constraints and trade-offs, and own the demand inputs for new products, promotions and delists.

We are looking for someone with at least five years in demand planning, supply chain planning or commercial analytics, ideally in FMCG or consumer products and within a multi-market or distributor-led business. You will have managed forecasts across regional markets or customers, with advanced Excel and data-analytics experience being an advantage.
