Job summary

Kerry Consulting Pte. Ltd. represents a leading international financial institution seeking an experienced Head of Identity & Access Management (IAM) in Singapore. This hands-on leadership role oversees day-to-day IAM operations, controls and continuous improvements.

You will drive remediation of regulatory and audit findings, strengthen JML, PAM, SSO/MFA, and entitlement management, and collaborate with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance and Audit to embed robust IAM practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology/cybersecurity experience with significant IAM experience.
• Experience leading IAM operations or an enterprise IAM function, ideally in banking/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of JML, IGA, PAM, access certification, SSO/MFA, directory services and entitlement management.
• Demonstrated ability addressing regulatory/audit findings and driving remediation.
• MAS regulatory understanding and technology controls in Singapore financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IAM function and operations with strong controls and operational resilience.
• Drive remediation of regulatory, audit and technology risk findings with evidence and ongoing control effectiveness.
• Strengthen Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, provisioning/de-provisioning and access reviews.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) and high-risk accounts.
• Strengthen least privilege, SoD, role-based access and entitlement management.
• Oversee IAM platforms across IGA, PAM, directory services, authentication/SSO/MFA.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, KRIs and SLAs for performance and remediation.
• Collaborate with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance and Audit to strengthen IAM controls.
• Drive automation and process improvement across IAM operations.
• Manage IAM vendors/service providers and develop internal IAM team.
• Support modernisation of IAM across cloud and Zero Trust.

Job description

A leading international financial institution is seeking an experienced Head of Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead and strengthen its IAM function in Singapore.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with responsibility for the day‑to‑day effectiveness, control and continuous improvement of IAM services and operations.

A key priority will be strengthening the organisation's IAM control environment and addressing regulatory and audit findings, ensuring that remediation is delivered effectively and that sustainable processes and controls are embedded into BAU operations.

The role will oversee areas including identity lifecycle management, user access administration, privileged access management (PAM), access reviews/recertification, authentication and IAM platforms, while working closely with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance and Audit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day IAM function and operations, ensuring effective service delivery, controls and operational resilience.
• Drive remediation of IAM‑related regulatory, audit and technology risk findings, including closure, evidence and ongoing control effectiveness.
• Strengthen Joiner‑Mover‑Leaver (JML) processes, provisioning/de‑provisioning, access reviews and recertification.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM), including privileged, service and other high‑risk accounts.
• Strengthen least privilege, Segregation of Duties (SoD), role‑based access and entitlement management.
• Oversee IAM platforms and services across IGA, PAM, directory services and authentication/SSO/MFA.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, KRIs and SLAs covering operational performance, control effectiveness and remediation progress.
• Partner with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance and Audit to strengthen IAM controls and address regulatory requirements.
• Drive automation and process improvement across IAM operations and control monitoring.
• Manage IAM vendors/service providers and lead the development of the internal IAM team.
• Support the longer‑term modernisation of IAM capabilities across cloud, non‑human identities and Zero Trust.

Requirements

• 15+ years of technology/cybersecurity experience, with significant experience in Identity & Access Management.
• Proven experience leading IAM operations or an enterprise IAM function, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of JML, IGA, PAM, access certification, SSO/MFA, directory services and entitlement management.
• Demonstrated experience addressing regulatory, audit or technology risk findings and driving sustainable remediation.
• Good understanding of MAS regulatory expectations and technology controls within Singapore financial institutions.
• Experience with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Active Directory/Entra ID, Okta or Ping Identity.
• Strong operational leadership across service management, control monitoring, incident/problem management and vendor management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, Audit and senior management.
