Job summary

Eames Consulting is working with a major financial institution in Singapore to appoint an experienced Head of IAM who will own the identity and access management strategy and governance across the organisation. Qualifications

• Experience leading an IAM function in financial services or regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the IAM operations team: provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews and incident response.

• Drive maturity of privileged access management, identity lifecycle management and access governance tooling.
• Report on IAM risk posture, control effectiveness and remediation progress to senior stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee IAM platform roadmaps and upgrades.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role covering both the strategic direction of the IAM programme and the operational delivery that keeps access secure and compliant across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the IAM strategy and roadmap, aligned to enterprise security and regulatory requirements
• Lead IAM governance: policies, standards, access certification and segregation of duties
• Manage and develop the IAM operations team, overseeing provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews and incident response
• Partner with cyber security, audit, risk and compliance teams on identity-related controls and regulatory engagement
• Drive maturity of privileged access management, identity lifecycle management and access governance tooling
• Report on IAM risk posture, control effectiveness and remediation progress to senior stakeholders
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee IAM platform roadmaps and upgrades

What we're looking for

• Proven experience leading an IAM function within financial services or another regulated industry
• Strong grounding in IAM governance frameworks, access control models and identity lifecycle management
• People leadership experience, having managed an operations or engineering team
• Familiarity with IAM and PAM platforms, and working knowledge of relevant regulatory expectations (e.g. MAS TRM)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging senior leadership, audit and regulators
