Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking an experienced IAM Project Consultant to support the implementation, integration and delivery of enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions.

You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and application owners throughout the project lifecycle, covering requirements gathering, solution implementation, system integration, testing, deployment and production handover, with hands-on work on REST APIs, JSON, Java and identity lifecycle

Qualifications

• Strong experience in IAM implementation or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Ping Identity, Okta or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with application onboarding and IAM integrations.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IAM Project Consultant to support the implementation, integration and delivery of enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and application owners throughout the project lifecycle, covering requirements gathering, solution implementation, system integration, testing, deployment and production handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery and implementation of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements for IAM integrations and application onboarding.
• Configure and integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and systems.
• Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, JSON and related web-service technologies.
• Support development or customisation activities involving Java where required.
• Perform and coordinate SIT, UAT, integration and regression testing, including defect identification and resolution.
• Support identity lifecycle processes including Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML), provisioning/de-provisioning and access management.
• Work with authentication and federation technologies such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SSO.
• Troubleshoot IAM integration, authentication and access-related issues.
• Coordinate with application teams, security teams, infrastructure teams and business stakeholders throughout implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, test documentation and operational handover materials.
• Support deployment, go-live and transition to BAU/support teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) implementation or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Ping Identity, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID or similar platforms.
• Experience with application onboarding and IAM integrations.
• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in Java development/customisation.
• Practical experience performing SIT, UAT, integration and/or regression testing.
• Good understanding of SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC and identity lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working across the full project lifecycle from requirements and implementation through testing, deployment and BAU handover.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
