You will manage maintenance, leases, budgeting, and stakeholder relationships to ensure our stores run cost-effectively and compliantly.

The role requires strong negotiation and financial analysis skills, with a track record in retail property management and sustainability initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 7 years of property management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Retail sector experience, FMCG or convenience retail preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills in lease management and landlord partnerships.
• Sound financial acumen including budgeting, cost optimization, and ROI analysis.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced property and facilities leader to drive our property strategy and operations in support of nationwide retail expansion and growth. This role oversees property maintenance, lease management, budgeting, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring our retail footprint is operationally efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term business objectives.

5 Key Responsibilities

1. Formulate and execute property strategy and initiatives that support retail expansion and future business growth
2. Oversee property maintenance and the lease renewal process to ensure stores operate efficiently and lease agreements are reviewed and renewed in a timely manner
3. Prepare and manage the property function's annual budget, track property-related expenses, and assess ROI on property investments
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and key external partners to secure favourable commercial outcomes
5. Ensure full regulatory compliance (including health and safety standards) and champion sustainability initiatives across the property portfolio

5 Key Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., RICS, IFMA) advantageous
2. At least 7 years of relevant property management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity
3. Proven track record within the retail sector, with experience in FMCG or convenience retail highly regarded
4. Strong negotiation skills with experience in lease management, site acquisition, and landlord partnerships
5. Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, cost optimisation, capital investment evaluation, and ROI analysis
