Job summary

QBE Singapore is seeking a Head of Corporate, Underwriting to strategically lead and grow the Corporate portfolio. You will oversee underwriting performance, pricing, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance while guiding the team toward sustainable profitability.

In this role you’ll balance growth with risk management, drive value for customers and brokers, and partner with regional and global underwriting leaders to execute strategic initiatives in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Significant underwriting leadership experience.
• Experience managing corporate/commercial insurance portfolios.
• Strong portfolio management and pricing discipline.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance in insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual business plan for the Corporate portfolio with growth and profitability targets.
• Drive portfolio strategy, underwriting performance and pricing discipline.
• Provide leadership across Corporate product lines and aligned underwriting strategies.
• Manage country P&L and ensure sustainable growth.
• Identify market opportunities and portfolio insights to support expansion.
