Chubb Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Head of Underwriting & Portfolio Management for Small Commercial Insurance. You will lead underwriting strategy, portfolio performance, and digital distribution initiatives with intermediaries and consumers.

You will partner with segment leaders, drive profitable growth, manage risk, and lead cross-functional teams across product, analytics, and technology to deliver improved customer outcomes.

Formación

• 10+ years of insurance underwriting experience.
• Advanced underwriting and portfolio management skills across Commercial P&C lines of business.
• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal/written communication, relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
• Good financial literacy, and clear understanding of P&L.
• Good technology literacy, including platforms and data.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
• Hands-on approach for high-complexity opportunities guiding in-country teams to underwriting decisions.
• Results driven with ability to deliver strategy.
• Deep knowledge of the Asia Commercial Insurance market, regulatory environments and market dynamics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop underwriting strategies and opportunities for product development to deliver profitable growth using technology.
• Evaluate and assess risks within small commercial and lower middle market.
• Collaborate with LOB experts and in-territory teams to enhance processes and digital distribution.
• Lead underwriting teams and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Upgrade underwriting function for a personalized customer experience.
• Stay updated with digital tech and its impact on underwriting.
• Manage underwriting resources, talent and projects for efficient execution.
• Collaborate with Platform, Product owners and engineering for delivery of solutions.
• Define and deliver strategic plans and forecasts with finance.
