Job summary

BDO Unibank in Singapore seeks a Central Operations Head to provide strategic leadership across Operations, IT and Project Management, ensuring efficiency and service excellence for the bank's objectives.

The role reports to the Chief Executive of the Singapore Branch with responsibilities spanning operational oversight, risk management, process improvement and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
• 12-15 years in banking operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing operational teams and projects.
• Familiarity with core banking systems, wealth platforms and IT infrastructure (preferred).
• Strong strategic leadership, operational excellence and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across Operations, IT and Project Management.
• Oversee risk controls, regulatory compliance and business continuity.
• Drive process improvements, cost control and service quality.
• Lead project portfolio focused on process enhancement and automation.
• Monitor KPIs/SLAs and vendor performance; conduct reviews.
• Develop operations manuals, guides and training materials.
