Job summary

Operations Council in Singapore seeks a Section Head of Operations to lead a lean team of 3-4 to manage full trade finance and loan operations end-to-end for the Singapore branch.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in trade finance or loan operations, strong process and risk management skills, and excellent stakeholder management. Mandarin proficiency is a plus for Mandarin-speaking stakeholder interactions.

Qualifications

• Leadership or team management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operations and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a lean team of 3–4 to perform full trade finance and loan operations for the Singapore branch.

• Track KPIs/SLAs, handle reconciliations and reporting.

Opportunity for growth Senior Leadership position High ownership role A Corporate Banking client is seeking a Section Head of Operations to join the team. In this role, you will lead a lean team of 3-4 pax to perform for full trade finance & loan operations function end-to-end for the Singapore branch. You'll oversee daily trade finance, loan operations, review and approve transactions, track KPIs/SLAs, handle reconciliations and reporting, maintain SOPs, drive process/risk improvements, and lead projects and BCM exercises while coaching staff. The ideal candidate comes with at least 10 years' relevant experience in trade finance/loan operations experience preferably with some team management experience. Strong hands on knowledge on the relevant operational processes, strong communication and stakeholder management skills to be able to lead the team to success. Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin would be an advantage, as the role involves communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders on trade finance and loan operations matters. RLJ Reg.
