Job summary

HTX, Singapore's Science and Technology agency, seeks an experienced Data Engineering Leader to guide capabilities development, roadmaps, and governance for AI products.

You will oversee data integration from multiple sources, build scalable pipelines, ensure data quality and security, and drive compliance with IM requirements.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering with at least 3 in leadership, plus hands-on cloud, big data, and ETL tool expertise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong interest in AI Data Engineering, solutioning and data management.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to formulate capabilities development roadmaps for AI and Data Engineering.
• Oversee data integration across sources ensuring consistency and accessibility.
• Build and manage scalable data pipelines to process large data volumes for AI products.
• Establish data quality, validation, and governance protocols.
• Review Data Engineering requirements for AI product delivery for feasibility and completeness.
• Optimize data processing performance for complex AI models.
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance including AI governance.
• Stay updated with AI data engineering technologies and promote adoption.
• Guide the team to deliver capabilities within governance and security standards.
• Facilitate data sharing and data consumption requirements and solution integration.
