Job summary

Lotus Thai Restaurant in Singapore is seeking an experienced cook to prepare Thai dishes from scratch and work collaboratively with the kitchen team. You may be asked to lead the kitchen in the absence of the head chef and to manage weekend shifts and public holidays.

Responsibilities include planning weekly food quantities, placing orders, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of grills, fryers, and work surfaces to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Thai cuisine is required.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.

• Team Player and Able to Lead the Kitchen if required
• Required to work on Weekends and Public Holidays
• Able to cook amazing Thai dishes from scratch is a must.
• Cleaning and disinfecting items you work with, including grills, fryers and counter surfaces.
• Have to help out washing the plates and throwing the rubbish if required.
• Plan how much food will be needed for the week
• Order food and supplies.
