Job summary

burnt ends restaurant pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced lounge/server lead to partner with Events Team to drive marketing, events, and programmes while steering beverage service.

You will analyze inventory, develop learning plans, curate beverage lists with wine, beer, cocktails, and work with kitchen and bar teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related work & responsibility field.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Impeccable wine, beer and cocktail knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and be a strong lounge server
• Seasoned communicator, ensuring bringing the service, bar and kitchen teams together along the way
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and carry boxes

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Events Team to drive marketing, events and programmes
• Develop strategies to achieve sales targets according to customers' profiles
• Analyse inventory levels to propose purchases for the team
• Translate team members’ skill requirements into learning and development plans
• Analyse current customers' profiles and beverage preferences to provide targeted recommendations
• Propose to management on the initiatives for continuous improvement within the team
• Plan continuous improvement activities within the team
• Review the new beverage recipes for inclusion in new menu
• Monitor the preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Monitor the operations of Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing beverage order
• Able to work with the sommelier to curate and update a dynamic beverage list, including wine, craft beers, cocktails, mocktails.
