Job summary

Micron Asia Operations PTE. LTD. is seeking a Staff Engineer to join the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Component Validation team as a Subject Matter Expert. You will define validation standards and ensure a scalable testing infrastructure for next-gen HBM products.

In this role you will own test program development, lead technical problem solving, optimize test flows and equipment, and mentor junior engineers to advance validation capabilities across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's degree in Electrical & Electronic or Computer Engineering with 5+ years in semiconductor product engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on test pattern and code development in C/C++ and Python on ATE.
• 5+ years as Product Development Engineering lead.
• Experience implementing DFT/functional testing (loopback, MBIST, scan) with knowledge in Computer Architecture/DRAM.
• Analog Mixed Signal or ASIC design/verification or silicon validation experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop test programs for HBM component validation.
• Deliver test program releases aligned with validation milestones and drive code quality, reviews, and release best-practices.
• Drive test time optimization and parallelism improvements.
• Drive test stability and repeatability across sites and equipment.
• Coach and develop technical growth of other engineers in validation approaches, platform nuances, simulation methodology, and reporting standards.
• Drive hardware readiness setup for handler, socket, etc.
• Maintain documentation in Confluence/Jira and version control in Git/Perforce.
• Drive root cause analysis sessions and corrective action closure.
• Collaborate across Validation team and cross-functional teams for design validation and lab support.
