Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hardware test support technician to guide production testers, troubleshoot test issues, and maintain test databases.

You will ensure accurate GI creation and collaborate with software and engineering teams to deploy rack configurations. The role requires a Diploma/Associate Degree in CS or Engineering with 2–4 years’ experience in testing or hardware support; 4+ years welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Associate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in testing, manufacturing, or hardware support; 4+ years welcome.
• Experience with server/rack hardware testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret Test Process Instructions (TPI) and guide testers.
• Support operators during testing and troubleshoot test-related issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for test failures.
• Create and maintain Golden Images (GI) for servers and ensure test data accuracy.
• Develop and configure rack test templates from BOM and EI.
• Collaborate with software/engineering to deploy rack configurations.
• Maintain records for new components like switches and power shelves.
• Raise technical issues and coordinate resolutions with teams.
• Keep training records and audit documentation up to date.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.
