Job summary

Thermectech Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned Service Manager to lead service operations for commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring timely preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs and emergency responses across multiple sites.

You will supervise technical teams, drive efficiency, uphold safety standards and deliver high-quality service with a hands-on leadership approach. Candidates must have extensive field experience and a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years hands-on experience in commercial kitchen equipment servicing.
• Minimum 6 years supervisory or service management experience.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake emergency standby and after-hours support.
• Strong leadership, organisational and customer management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service operations including technician deployment, scheduling and coordination.
• Oversee preventive maintenance contracts and emergency breakdown services.
• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, gas and cooking equipment.
• Supervise and train technicians to maintain high competency and service quality.
• Manage customer service requests and escalations with prompt resolutions.
• Ensure 24-hour on-call availability and respond to hotline within one hour.
• Review diagnoses, service reports and maintenance documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and customers on parts and repair solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH and safety procedures.
• Implement continuous improvements in service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
