ARISTON SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Backend Engineer with strong Java and Hadoop expertise to drive a Hadoop data layer modernization initiative.

You will work on backend development, platform migration, testing support, troubleshooting, and production stabilization within a distributed data processing environment. The role involves collaboration with QA, infrastructure, and architecture teams to ensure successful delivery and deployment readiness across the project

Qualifications

Strong Java backend development experience.
Hadoop ecosystem knowledge (HDFS and related technologies).
Experience with distributed data platforms and large-scale applications.
Spring Boot / Spring Framework proficiency.
REST API development and Linux/Shell scripting.
Experience with storage platform migration or modernization is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop Java backend services, APIs, and integration components.
Support platform modernization and data platform integration.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize performance in production.
Provide testing support and deployment readiness.
Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with teams.
