Job summary

Mercure Singapore Bugis is seeking a guest services professional to provide courteous and efficient front desk service. You will welcome guests, assist with check-in and check-out, handle payments, and provide information on hotel services.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a proactive attitude, with ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays; prior MS Office proficiency is desired.

• Competent in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• To process check-in/check-out including luggage assistance and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures
• To provide information about hotel services and amenities
• To ensure all guests’ information are strictly confidential for use by authorized personnel only
• Attend to guest request and complaints and provide guest with feedback, when necessary to ensure guests’ satisfaction
• To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues, and all other departments.
